“Melt, Mold, Grind”, 2016. A commemorative panel project commemorating the closing of ESCO Foundry Plant #1. The pieces were among the last pieces to be sand cast in stainless steel in the plant. The panels are 4 ft tall. They were sculpted at 18 inches tall, scanned and reproduced with a 3-D router at the final scale. The routed reproductions were used to create the sand cast molds.
